LITIS
The Laboratory of Computer Science, Information Processing, and Systems (LITIS) specializes in the field of information sciences and technologies in Normandy.
In Le Havre, the RI2C team has been formed around the study of complex systems, focusing on the concept of interactions and the emergence of collective intelligence within these systems.
The teacher-researchers at ISEL affiliated with this laboratory lead large-scale ANR projects or emerging initiatives on various themes: humanitarian logistics after industrial, natural, or health-related disasters; logistics for the dismantling of large structures to add value and optimize materials through reuse or recycling, etc.
80 researchers, including 36 HDR (Habilitation to Supervise Research)
- Around 60 PhD students
- Associated doctoral schools: Mathematics, Information and Systems Engineering (MIIS) and Life Sciences (NBISE)
NIMEC
- 90 researchers
- 15 Full Professor, around 50 PhD students
- Associated doctoral school: Normandy Doctoral School of Economics and Management
LMAH
The Laboratory of Applied Mathematics of Le Havre (LMAH) focuses its research on the modeling of real-world problems, the analysis of these models using mathematical tools, and the development of effective strategies for performance optimization, with a particular emphasis on two major applications: living systems models and logistics.
The teacher-researchers at ISEL affiliated with the LMAH work on mathematical models for complex flows, flow dynamics, planning, and supply…

GREAH
The Research Group in Electrical Engineering and Automation of Le Havre (GREAH) covers two disciplinary fields: “Electrical Systems & Electric Mobility” and “System Safety & Robotics,” and organizes its activities around three themes: Renewable energies and power storage; Electromechanical actuators and drive systems; Advanced control and system safety.
Our team of teacher-researchers affiliated with GREAH is conducting research on mobile robotics (terrestrial or aerial) and IoT with several major projects focused on goods handling, traceability, digitization of the logistics chain, air quality monitoring via drones, and more. The equipment (cobots, robots, drones, and IoT) used in the school’s technological platforms is operated by this team.
